Grief comes in many forms. For some, it’s the loss of a loved one, your independence, or the life you once knew. Regardless of the reason, it is real. It is heavy. And for many, there is no shortcut through it.

But here's what I want you to know: God never asks you to pretend it doesn't hurt. He never called grief wrong. Even Jesus wept.

What God offers is something deeper than answers. He offers Himself. A healing presence who doesn't stand at a distance from your pain but steps right into it with you. He binds up what has been torn. He mends what feels beyond repair.

You don't have to grieve alone. He is close. He is gentle. And He knows you. Sit with that for a moment. The Creator of the universe knows you. The One who stepped out on nothing and spoke everything into existence, He knows you. Not just your name, but your heartache, your history, your tears. Your high points and your low points. What makes you laugh, but also what is making you cry today.

One of my favorite verses is Jeremiah 1:5. God is speaking directly to Jeremiah, but because He is no respecter of persons, this word belongs to you as well: Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.

Before your first breath. Before your first struggle. Before your first heartbreak — He already knew you. And He has never stopped knowing you, never stopped watching over you, and never stopped caring for you.
